About Earthquake :
On 1 January, 2024, when the New Year was being celebrated all over the world, on that day, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake occurred in Japan. This earthquake was not alone as small and large earthquakes were witnessed. 155+ earthquakes occurred in just one day. This caused waves about 1.2 meters high in the sea, and began to move along the west post of Japan. As of 2 January, 55 people had been killed. This earthquake has been named as the ” 2024 SEA OF JAPAN EARTHQUAKE” and “NOTO PENINSULA EARTHQUAKE”.
2 journey : Airplane crash
On January 2, 2022, another unfortunate accident occurred, a Japan Airlines plane collided with a Japan Postcard plane at Tokyo Airport, and both were engulfed in flames. This Japan postcard plane was getting ready to help people trapped in the earthquake. All the people who were sitting in the other plane survived. But five out of six crew members are killed in this postcard ship.
Japan’s measures to avoid damage
A major search and rescue operation is under way after a powerful earthquake struck parts of the country. Tens of thousands of people were evacuated from high risk areas. The prime minister said rescue efforts were extremely difficult due to damage to roads and infrastructure in lshikwave prefecture. Several people are confirmed to have died with fears that people are buried alive under rubble.
